Symptom Advice ›

Aching Legs Tired, aching legs is a common condition characterized by dull ache and discomfort at the back of the lower leg. It can also be felt behind the knee and in the calf muscles.

When there is over pronation of the foot, the leg internally rotates, putting more stress and causing an abnormal traction on the calf muscles.

Lightfoot insoles aim to prevent pain by controlling the excessive pronation of the feet and reducing the strain on the musculature of the lower legs.

What are Tired Aching Legs?

Tired aching legs refer to the generalized feeling of discomfort, pain and fatigue, usually behind the knees. It is intensified by walking and standing for long periods of time.

Over pronation or excessive inward rolling of the foot causes the calf muscles to also rotate internally, in attempt to control the over pronation. This, in return, causes the muscles to become fatigued and eventually leads to pain and discomfort.
